CHAMPIONSHIP / LABELLING
Update from Ultra Running NSW,
With an all new track surface being laid at the Campbelltown Athletics Venue over the 2024/2025 summer period along with a completely new measurement re-certification being carried out, the Southern Sydney Track Ultra will be able to hold an IAU label for the 2025 event and beyond.
Due to the new certification for the Campbelltown venue, the 2026 race has been awarded an IAU Bronze label for the 24hr, 12hr and 6hr races. Along with the 3 Ultra race distances. The race has also been awarded the Bronze label for all intermeadiate distances including the 50km, 50 miles, 100km, 100 miles, and 200km.
The Southern Sydney Track Ultra will again be able to support any runners looking to attempt any Australian (AURA) or World (IAU) running record, accross all the distances and timed races that hold the silver label.
Also with the event being Bronze labelled for 2026, any qualifying performances run at the Southern Sydney Track Ultra will be recognised and sanctioned by AUTRA for any IAU international championship applications and Australian team selections (24hr, 100km & 50km)
