Welcome to the 7th running of The Southern Sydney Track Ultra for 2027, brought to you by Ultra Running NSW.

Including for the first time both the 24 Hour and 48 Hour Australian National Track Championships being hosted at the one event.

The event will return for 2027 to the first weekend in July, at the Campbelltown Athletics Centre, located in Leumeah south of Sydney, with its amazing range of facilities available close to the venue.

For 2027, we will be offering a line up of races that will include the 24 Hour and 48 Hour (which will both be the host for the Australian National Track Championships), 12 Hour, 6 Hour, 3 Hour, 1 Hour.

With the return of both the 24 Hour and 48 Hour race and being host to the 2027 National Championships, unfortunately there will be no evening marathon race at the 2027 event.

The 2027 event will be offering a line-up of 10 races over the 3 days of the event, with races ranging from 48hrs down to 1hr for Running and 48hrs down to 6hrs for Race Walking.

With the venue having an all new synthetic surface laid and re-measured over the 24/25 summer months, the event is IAU Bronze labelled and sanctioned. This is great news for all runners who wish to go for qualifying distances or any record attempts.

Along with the 48 Hour race, the line-up will also include a 24hr, 12hr, 6hr in both running and race walking. Also there will be a 3hr race, plus the addition of a 1hr race to the lineup.
